Leah is a qualified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Occupational Therapist.

She prioritises creating a safe, empowering space for her clients, free from diet culture rhetoric and offers a fresh perspective on what 'sport', 'exercise' or ‘fitness’ means, how it feels, and what purpose it serves for each of us as unique individual beings.

Leah has a specialist interest in amplifying her clients to communicate, explore and unpick the function of their brilliant, ever-changing bodies, and advocates strongly for the benefits of engaging in resistance training, whatever age or stage of life you’re at.

As a result, you’ll find Leah embedding pockets of learning and education into her sessions to foster a deeper sense of understanding of the ‘why’ behind our movements.
Leah has extensive experience working with clients who identify with having disordered eating, Eating Disorders, and/or disordered relationships with sport and exercise (both past and present).

As a result, she offers open, client-led communication with a compassionate approach, aiming to work holistically to ensure these are safe, confidential spaces. Leah opens up chances for clients to explore what may have come 'before' within their movement story, and what they hope is yet to come.

Over the last year, Leah has furthered her training and qualified as a Functional Fitness Coach through the PFCA.

Alongside her fitness roles in various much-loved gyms within Bristol, Leah has worked as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS. She has experience within physical healthcare and mental healthcare settings and has taken on roles in both child and adult services.

Leah isn’t ashamed to admit that the communities in various fitness spaces in Bristol ARE her social life outside of work time! She enjoys engaging in fitness competitions in a ‘friendly’, non-competitive capacity, and will be seen jumping in on any group-based class at any opportunity; thriving off the connections they bring.

Living in South Bristol, she also loves nothing more than local coffee shop hopping and Sunday market mooching!
